After the critical niche sub suburban success of the S.E.L.F. EP, the gang brings it back for a full length. With a more serious tone than the previous EP, the LP comes with thought provoking tracks sprinkled throughout, reminiscent of early Thew and the Goddamn Gang, as well as some new school bangers. Thew's lyrics showcase the battle between his internal and external, at times walking a tightrope between them before exploding in the most exposing moments. Anton Hills provides gusto and shoulder brushing with such ease that his bravado and attention to melody is unmatched. Rezzy tears down conceptions with a stream of consciousness laced with idioms and street knowledge. Phocks' ever sharpening tongue twisting technique grinds everything you heard and then slices them into something original and fresh. Together they weave in and out of tracks to wet your appetite for the summer. So turn the album up, go buy your overpriced soy mocha iced latte, and we'll bring the Jameson's.
